L'oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation

Hey everyone! So I purchased this foundation about 3 months ago. Its a newer foundation, and you can purchase it at most drugstores. I love the dream matte mousse, so I thought I should try this to see if its similar. The texture is really unique. The dream matte mousse is more clumpy, while this is very fluffy, creamy & soft. It really feels like a souffle. Now when I first started using this foundation my skin was very oily all over. This went over my skin nicely, gave me medium coverage and my skin looked very smooth. I feel like you really don't need to set it with a powder, because it has a very powder like finish. I have set it with powder before and it does make it last longer. It controlled my oil pretty well, but it only lasted around 6 hours. Recently though I've started getting dry patches on my skin, I'm still very oily on my t-zone area but I have horrible dry patches around my cheeks. I tried this foundation and it was HORRIBLE! I gripped to those dry patches awfully. I looked nasty. Therefore if you have very oily skin this is a great foundation but if you have the slightest dry patch don't waste the money, as this is a pricey drugstore foundation.

Sigma Brushes Review!

Hi my loves! I know it seems like every time I do a blog post I'm apologizing for not  posting anything but I'm going to do it again. I'm sorry! I've been out of town for the past two weeks and haven't been able to post. I'm back and my goal is to post everyday this week! Alright so today I'm reviewing a couple brushes I have. I ordered from Sigma Makeup about a month and a half ago and got the F80(flat top kabuki) and the F40(MAC 224 Dupe). The shipping was fast & everything came great. I had been using those brushes for about a month, they were working great! I didn't have any problems with shedding, and I washed them about once a week. So two weeks ago, it was a tuesday night, I was washing all my brushes. When I started washing the F40 I noticed it was shedding, (which it had shed one or two hairs before then but that wasn't a problem). When I say shedding I mean it was SHEDDING! I have seriously 30-40 hairs in my hand. I sent Sigma an email that night and they replied to me by 11:00 the next day! They said I had received a defective brush and that they would be sending me a new one asap. I got an email at 2:00 the same day saying that it had been shipped and I received the brush that friday! Therefore I'm SUPER impressed with their customer service and will be ordering from them again.

The brush quality themselves is amazing! They are cheap brushes & great quality. Since I received the new E40 its amazing! I love the F80 for foundation. I you love the ELF powder brush get this! Its a shorter more denser version of it and I like it better! The E40 is a great blending brush for eyeshadow. Its my favorite. If you have smaller eyes I wouldn't recommend it though because it is quite big! Overall I think these brushes are amazing! I think everyone should try them.

Thanks!

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer Review

So I purchased this concealer a couple weeks ago because of all the hype its been getting. Its a 6 dollar concealer, and its only sold at walmart. Hard Candy claims on the back of the box it comes in that this product can cover tattoos. I wouldn't know if it did since I don't have any.. haha but if anyone uses this for that let me know how it works! I really do like this concealer. It takes seriously the smallest bit to cover under my eyes. Its pretty incredible. For blemishes I'm not completely sold on it yet. I think it spreads around a little to much for spot concealing. Although if you had a little area of breakouts it would be great for concealing that larger area. The only real problem I have with it is that its kind of difficult to spread. It doesn't just glide under your eyes, so if you have sensitive under eye ares I wouldn't recommend this. If you don't have a problem and don't mind working a bit harder its a great concealer! It provides great coverage! Now on to the pencil. I do like this pencil for concealing SMALL blemishes, but what I really love it for is lining my eyes. I don't know if its eye safe or not but it hasn't given me any problems. It reminds me of those Mac eyeliners that came out a couple months ago. I love it though! Its a wonderful alternative to white on your waterline! Overall I think this is a great concealer, and for 6 bucks you can't beat it! So go try it out and let me know what you guys think :)

UDPP vs. Michael Todd Eyeshadow Base(Review)

Hi my loves! So today I'm going to talk about eyeshadow primers. I have a couple but today I'm just going to compare two. First I would like to thank you guys for supporting my blog! You don't know how much it means to me! Please tell all your friends about my blog :)

Okay, so today I'm comparing the Urban Decay Primer Potion vs. the Michael Todd Eyeshadow Base. I've had the MTEB for about 2 months, and the UDPP for about 1. The textures are way different, the UDPP being more thin and sheer with the Michael Todd being more thick and creamy. I find the UDPP doesn't cover vains and any discoloration in the eye area, which can be seen through eyeshadows. The Michael Todd, with it being a thicker formula does cover vains. Also I find that the MT makes the shadows way more vibrant than the UDPP. I found that blending with the UDPP is HORRIBLE! The shadows get all patchy and stick to random places and more than once I've had to take off the shadows and restart. The Michael Todd makes blending the shadows wonderful! Its so easy with that primer! The lasting power is pretty similar so if thats all you want than you can get either one. Obviously my pick is the Michael Todd Eyeshadow Base. I think though if I had the UDPP first I would love it. I don't understand how people can have that as their HG primer. The Michael Todd is worlds better.

Top Ten ELF Products!

Hi! I'm sorry I haven't been posting blogs everyday but I've been doing makeup for this show everyday so I haven't had time. I promise I will post one everyday next week! Thank you guys! So today I'm going to talk about my top ten ELF(Eyes Lips Face) Products! I know my last post was about ELF but oh well :)

10.
Makeup Mist & Set
I use this everyday to set my makeup! I love it! I also sometimes spray my stippling brush with this before applying my foundation to make it more sheer. I really think this product makes my makeup stay on longer, I use it on all my clients. So good!

9.
Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter
This is my go to under eye concealer! I use it everyday. The highlighting side is good but it can be a little bit glittery. I don't have awful under eye concealers so I don't have to have a lot of coverage therefore this is perfect! Its more on the sheer side but not as sheer as the tone correcting concealer from elf. I love this though! Its extremely brightening!

8.
Mineral Blush in Coral
This blush is gorgeous! I reach for this when I don't want to look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup but I still want a glow. Its a very muted coral though, and doesn't have any shimmer. I love it though! My go to blush for summer!

7.
Cream Eyeliner in Coffee
This eyeliner is great! The feel of it reminds me a lot of the Mac Fluidline, this is the closest thing I've found to it. I use this a lot and the color is just a nice reddish brown with no sparkle. I also want to buy more of these to use as bases.

6.
Studio Blush in Pink Passion & Candid Coral
These blushes are amazing! I have two of them, Pink Passion and Candid Coral. I use these all the time, they are so pigmented and go on so well. Candid Coral is a coral with golden shimmer, so pretty! Pink Passion(above) is a neon pink, so pigmented I have to use a stippling brush with this. These blushes last forever because you have to use so little!

5.
ELF Eyebrow Kit in Light
I use this everyday so I had to include it in my top ten! I love it and it makes my brows look so good. I still feel like I have to use a clear gel to get them to stay in place, but I love the look of the powder and wax! So good and so cheap. I'm going to purchase this in every color to keep in my kit.

4.
ELF Stippling Brush
This brush is amazing! I use it to stipple on my liquid foundation and I LOVE IT! I have a small Mac 187 and I like this one better! It hasn't shed or bled! With the Mac one I find it takes longer to get the foundation looking good.

3.
ELF Eyeshadow Brush

This is one of my most used brushes! I use it almost everyday to apply my all over lid color. I love it! I have like 7 of them and its so great. If you haven't tried it yet you really need to!

2.
ELF Complexion Perfection
I LOVE THIS! I use it everyday to set my under eye concealer and its such a thin powder it does an amazing job! The color correctors really work good.

1.
ELF Powder Brush
One of the best brushes ever! I use this for everything, applying foundation, powder, blush, bronzer. I'm not gonna say to much because I have a review coming soon about it, but this is a must have for me!

review; ELF Nail Polishes

Hey loves! Before I get started with this review I want to thank you guy for 10 followers! I really appreciate it as I've only been blogging for a couple days. Thanks again for supporting me! Tell your friends :) Now on to the review for today...

So I'm sure most of you guys know about Eyes Lips Face (ELF) makeup and brushes, but what doesn't get a lot of hype is the nail polishes. The reason being they are really hit and miss, although with them only being $1, I'm willing to take that risk :) So I have 7 of these polishes and I like 4 of them. It really just depends on the colors you choose. I don't like the packaging with it being square, I think its nice for them to want to be different but I'm not a fan of applying it with the square top. The brush is just like any normal drugstore brush, so nothing special yet nothing amazing. Each of these polishes take about 2 coats. Now on to the individual reviews :) Please excuse my bad painting nail skills, and my camera refusing to focus :)

Brush
ELF's Mint Cream

Without Flash

With caption, 2 coats.

Okay, so this one is on my don't like list. I bought it hoping it would be the perfect mint cream for spring but it wasn't. Its pretty sheer and goes on really uneven. The pictures don't show much but it just goes on so uneven it looks gross. Its also incredibly thin! Maybe 4ish coats could work? lol Who wants to put on 4 coats of nail polish? Not me. This one just wasn't worth it. :(

ELF's Moonlight

With Flash. 2 Coats.

Without Flash. 2 Coats.
So this is a nice polish if your looking for a super sheer frosty color. The color reminds me of highbeam from benefit. Its like a silvery goldish? haha I'm really good at describing colors. It would be very pretty for an interview but I'm just really not into the color. It is more thick than the mint cream but defiantly on the thin side.
ELF's Mango Madness With Flash

Without Flash 2 Coats
So this is a very weird nail polish! haha Its a gorgeous hot pink with a beautiful golden sheen. It is a matte finish which is very weird because it still has the shimmer. If you add a top coat over it then its gorgeous, because it add the gloss. So if you just add a top coat this polish is the perfect hot pink! :)
2 coats no flash

ELF's Royal Purple

2 coats with flash
This color is gorgeous! A warm purple with pretty shimmer! It goes opaque in 2 coats, and is so pretty. I wear this all the time, its in my top ten polishes. The consistency is perfect, not to thin or thick. I just love this! Must have!

ELF's Dark Navy

2 coats no flash

2 coats With Flash
Not much to say about this color just a really nice DARK navy. The formula is really comparable to OPI and is just a really good color. I would describe the color as a black base with a blue shimmer. Really pretty, yet really dark. I don't wear it often because I'm not a fan of things this dark.
2 coats without flash

ELF's Nude

2 coats with flash
Yes I do have nail polish in this video. If you want that invisible look than buy this polish! haha Its AWFUL. It looks like a perfect pinky nude in the bottle but its so thin and SO sheer you'll be much better off buying a clear polish. WASTE OF $1!

ELF's Teal Blue With flash 2 Coats

Without Flash 2 Coats
ELF's Teal Blue is one of my favorite nail polishes ever! It is as good as my OPI & China Glaze polishes! The consistancy is perfect, and it goes opaque with one coat. It doesn't chip fast either! The color is a gorgeous turquoise but more on the green side. I'm actually wearing it today with the black shatter over top, I reach for this polish atleast once a week! ( I paint my nails everyday) Total must have for me!

So overall these polishes are a hit and miss. I defiantly recommend Teal Blue, Royal Purple, Mango Madness and Dark Navy! I think you should all give these polishes a try, they are only a dollar so how much can you lose?!? I just looked back and realized my nails look HORRIBLE, but hopefully you can tell the colors :)

Ulta Haul!

Hey lovess! So today I went to ulta to pick up a $6 brush and ended up spending over $60 of course.. :/ haha but I am super excited! I got some products I've really been wanting and they have been out of stock online and in my stores. Now on to the stuff I got! First upppp
OPI's No Spain No Gain
I got this nail polish for $3.99! I couldn't resist. Its a gorgeous mid-toned berry, and it doesn't have shimmer. I thought it would be a great color for my toes when I don't wanna go super bright but I still want color.

OPI's Teenage Dream

ahhh! One of the two things I was MAJORLY excited for. I missed out on getting this polish when it first came out and haven't been able to find it. I always check the nail polishes at Ulta and this was not over there but on one of those little tables where they sale the kits and special deals the ENTIRE Katy Perry collection was there. I mean 5-6 of each polish including the black shatter. Which is the black shatter permanent? I didn't pick it up because my friend has it and isn't a fan of the formula and I haven't heard you must go out and buy this now reviews. I'll stop rambling on to the next products :)

Next I got the Ulta Professional lip brush, I couldn't find a picture online. Basically its just a small long thin brush, the only other lip brush I have is short and round. I got this bad boy for $1.99 in the clearance section by the np. Its originally $10! Not bad for a lip brush at all!

Studio Basics Smokey Eye Brush

Next is the Paris Presents Studio Basics Smokey Eye Brush. Wow that is a mouthful! lol! This is the reason I went to ulta, I've already had this brush before but I lost it last weekend on a job. This brush is my absolute favorite brush for eyes. I'll do a review soon!

Lastly the thing I'm MOST excited for.......
Urban Decay Naked Palette
YES! The Naked palette! I know I'm probably the very last person to get it but everytime I've gone to my Ulta its been sold out and I couldn't bring myself to buy it. I did have to get the one with the brush although I really wanted the one with the liners that's pretty impossible to find. I've already played around with this and I had some girls makeup to do for pictures and I used this and I love it! The colors are so nice! I think this and my mac shadows are the only thing I'm going to take for jobs! It also comes with the mini UDDP which I haven't tried but we will see how it compares to my holy grail the Micheal Todd eye base. The brush is between a flat shader brush and a concealer brush and I like it for lid color! Great day at ulta!
